Dr. Hawkins has a varied experience including shelter medicine and has been mentored by Dr. Wheaton since 2000.
Alicia Pet Clinic also offers clean, roomy boarding for both dogs and cats. Our dog runs feature glass and stainless steel with no bars. There are also no drains in the back of the runs (like most boarding kennels have) which tend to harbor bacteria and viruses. Dogs are walked 5-7 times daily. Cats board at the opposite side of the facility from the dogs, in large cat condos with perches and a view of the salt water aquarium and the outside of the hospital.
All patients benefit from the facility having UV lighting in the air conditioning units that kill all incoming bacteria and viruses and the Lifesource water filter that provides a safe and clean water source for all bathing, cleaning and drinking water.
