I will say Syracuse or Northwestern. The others will be a toss up to get into. You sound a lot like me but it looks like you have a lot of EC’s. you might want to start putting things that you have accomplished or something that shows leadership in the different clubs you’re a part of..
That’s just my advice but other than that you sound like you got your head on straight! Good luck on your college searching, I’m sure you will figure it out.

Syracuse is definitely doable. I know someone who got in there with lesser stats. BU is also a realistic shot. The rest are definitely reaches. I agree with the other poster about applying to SAT optional schools like Wake Forest and Holy Cross.

You are the perfect person to apply to SAT optional colleges like Wake Forest, Bowdoin, Holy Cross

Your SATs are low for these schools and your AP test scores are really low, but you’ve certainly taken a tough courseload (and the colleges will take note of that). Your scores are balanced out by your leadership roles at school, the fact that you’re both African-American and male, and maybe by being first generation to go to college. I think you have a good chance at any of those schools, but Duke is probably more of a long shot. You might also want to look at Emory, Boston College, Pitt, U of Wisconsin, and U of Maryland (lots of internships/job possibilities in nearby D.C.).

    Syracuse is possible
    Northwestern is a super reach
BU is also possible and I see you getting that
Duke is a super reach that I do not see you getting
Vanderbilt is a super reach that you may have a chance at getting but is still a reach
U of Michigan is a reach that could be possible
Gtown is a super reach that I do not see you getting because of the competitive African American pool that they already have
NYU is a reach but there could be a small chance
Here’s what is boils down to. Your EC’s are very good and the leaderships positions you hold are good enough to get into Ivies because your a black man with leadership qualities which are rare.
However to two achillies Heel on your transcripts are your SAT’s and your grades, which are the two most important criteria in college admissions. 3.3 is below average for all the colleges above, but can be forgiven slightly because of the rigor of your academic courses. However you must take into account the people applying to the same schools are taking courses with the same difficulty level, but higher GPA’s
The SAT is honestly what is hurting you the most. An 1130/1600 is very low for all the colleges, and you will need to get that to at least mid 1200′a for a shot at your super reaches.
If by any means you can get your GPA to a 3.5 and your SAT to mid to high 1300’s, you will be in excellent shape
